Annual Campaign Trainings/Support


Let McKenna Kline Consulting help take the pressure of campaign trainings off of you, so you can focus on quality programming and member services during these challenging times.

With over 40 years of campaign experience, MK will bring not only best practices, but proven success in engaging and inspiring your volunteers and staff to campaign success. We will bring fun, food and family back to fundraising.

All trainings are delivered via Zoom and include a one-on-one leadership meeting to discuss your campaign challenges and goals so that the trainings can be tailored to your association’s specific needs.

Trainings:
Please note, in addition to the below descriptions, each training will include education on your association’s specific campaign structure and procedures.
Annual Campaign Training:

This training is designed for staff and will include the following objectives:

  • Staff’s understanding of the importance of the annual campaign to the mission of the organization
  • Staff’s understanding of what their role and expectations are for the annual campaign and year-round fundraising process
  • The importance of staff’s relationships built daily and their importance to the support of campaign and the mission
  • Moves Management – Casual, connected and committed
  • Strategies and resources to increase retention of volunteers and donors
Rally Night:

This training is designed for volunteers and will cover the following objectives:

  • The purpose of campaign
  • Campaigner’s role in campaign
  • Training of “the ask”
  • Campaign best practices from identifying prospects to becoming a goal buster
Board Training:

This training is designed for board members and will cover the following objectives:

  • Understanding the importance of board giving and getting
  • Development of program priorities and passions plea
  • Moves Management – Donor pipeline
    • Identify prospects - Are they aligned with the values of the organization?
    • Connecting them to the organization
    • Understanding the natural partners and their importance
    • “The Ask”
    • Recognition and retention
